The Elmira Sugar Kings beat the Kitchener Dutchmen 5-2 at the Dan Snyder Memorial Arena on Sunday night. Here are a few images from the game.

Elmira Sugar Kings lose to Stratford Cullitons

The Elmira Sugar Kings were beaten by the Stratford Cullitons on the weekend (Nov.13) on home ice. The Kings who won 14 straight games to begin the season now sit in third place in the Midwestern Conference behind Stratford and Brantford. Here are a few images from the game.

Lancer Football ~ Last game of the season

The EDSS Lancers’ junior football team played their last game of the 2011 season against Sir John A MacDonald Highlanders at the University of Waterloo Warriors Stadium. The Lancers lost 35-20.

Sugar Kings win back to back games

The Elmira Sugar Kings defeated both the St. Mary Lincolns and the Owen Sound Greys over the weekend. The Kings took on the Lincolns at the GOJHL Showcase in Niagara and beat them in a shoot out that saw Kings’ netminder Nick Horrigan save both shots. The next night they went up against the Greys in front of a home crowd and easily bested Owen Sound 8-2. Here are a few images from the games.

Kings squeek pass Dutchmen

The Elmira Sugar Kings managed to hold on to win their bout against the Kitchener Dutchmen on Sunday night at the WMC. Taking an early lead the Kings had a 5-1 advantage over Kitchener going into the third period. The Dutchmen were not finished with Elmira and came back scoring three unanswered goals to finish the game 5-4.
